Gaining her violin diploma with maximum marks at the Trento “F. A. Bonporti” Conservatoire and graduating magna cum laude in  High Artistic and Musical formation at the Florence  “L. Cherubini” Conservatoire; she further studied with Corrado Romano, Zinaida Gilels e Pavel Vernikov. She attended a course for ‘Principal Violin’ held by M° Giulio Franzetti at the Fiesole Music School. 

 

She performs as soloist and in chamber music with Bruno Canino, Alessandro Specchi, Fabrizio Meloni, Gary Karr, Patrick Gallois, Konstantin Bogino, Angelo Stefanato, Anatol Liebermann, Giovanni Adamo, Franca Bruni, Radovan Vlatkovic, Anahi Carfi, Stefano Pagliani, Andrea Tacchi, Judith Liber, Gemma Bertagnolli and in ensembles such as Carme – Società Italiana di Musica da Camera, Virtuosi Italiani,  Archi della Scala, Cameristi dell’ORT, OrtEnsemble, European Music Project, Roma  Camerata Strumentale di Santa Cecilia. As a guest in important musical seasons and festivals such as: Biennale di Venezia, Concerti del Quirinale dalla Cappella Paolina (live RADIO3RAI Italian Radio Television), New York Carnegie Hall, Hong Kong Arts Festival, Tuscan Sun Festival (Teatro La Pergola), Florence Festival Festival Play it, Performing Art Center di Pechino,  Tanzania Republic Precidency, Menuhin Festival Musiksommer, Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Teatro Bellas Artes Festival Mexico, Festival Avignon,  Bologna Musica Insieme, Trentino I Suoni delle Dolomiti, Opatija Kvarner Festival. 

 

She has collaborated as solo violin with, Giorgio Barberio Corsetti and Mario Martone in a production of “Histoire du Soldat” di Igor Strawinsky in the Festival di Avignone with Ninetto Davoli; principal violin in 'Medea' di Benda with Maddalena Crippa; she has worked with Ennio Morricone, Nicola Piovani, Tan Dun, Nanni Moretti, Luis Bacalov, Franco Battiato, Lucio Dalla, Stefano Bollani, Riz Ortolani, Mauro Pagani, Tullio Solenghi, Stefania Rocca, Uri Caine e Noa. 

She won an audition for  principal violin in the Orchestra Mozart e Milano, and covers the same role  in the following groups: I Cameristi, Carme Milano - Società Italiana di Musica da Camera,  Nouvel Ensemble Europèen di Liegi,  Archi Italiani, Gli Archi dell'ORT, Orchestra da Camera di Bologna, Orchestra Città di Ferrara, Accademia Filarmonica Trentina, Orchestra del Concorso “A. Pedrotti” e Orchestra del Festival “Grandi Interpreti”. 

As principal violin she has collaborated with important soloists such as  Radovan Vlatkovic, Michele Campanella, Fabrizio Meloni, Judith Liber, Alirio Diaz, Maxim Vengerov, James Galway, Luis Bacalov, Andrea Tacchi, Maddalena Crippa, Bin Huang, Angelo Stefanato, Augusto Vismara. 

 

She has won auditions and collaborated with  the ’Orchestra Sinfonica della Rai di Roma, Orchestra del Teatro Comunale di Bologna, Orchestra da Camera di Padova e del Veneto, Orchestra della Toscana, Orchestra Sinfonica “A. Toscanini”, Orchestra Haydn di Bolzano e Trento, Orchestra del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, covering also the role of principal. 

 

Founder of "Trio d'archi di Firenze" with the violist Pierpaolo Ricci and the cellist Lucio Danzi Labella.

She performs in duo violin-piano with Andrea Dindo.

 

She has been on tour in Japan, China,  USA (New York Carnegie Hall), Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Uruguay, Chile, Tanzania, Austria, Croatia, Belgium, France, Germany, Portugal, Spain, Monaco and Switzerland. 

She has recorded for the RAI (Radio Televisione Italiana) and recorded records for  Fonit Cetra, Sony Classical, Ricordi, Arts-Pilz, Phoenix Classics and Naxos as soloist, as first violins leader and in chamber ensembles, achieving prizes and  acknowledgment from the critics. 

 

She is currently recording all Viotti Violin Duets with Franco Mezzena for Luna Rossa Classic/Corrado Productions.

She has played ‘premier performances' of contemporary composers. 

 

She has been Violin Professor  at the Milano “G. Verdi” Conservatoire, at the Bologna “G.B. Martini” Conservatoire, she currently teaches at the Modena “Vecchi-Tonelli” High  Institute of Musical Studies. 

Ranked first at the 2000  Orchestra della Toscana Violin Prize (ORT - orchestradellatoscana.it); she is a permanent member since 2000, she  also covers the role of  Second Violins leader.

 

Patrizia Bettotti  plays a beautiful Josef Klotz and a valuable Antonio Pandolfi from 1730.
